On March 21st, 2016, our team demonstrated our 2014 robot at the McDonald’s restaurant on Beretania Street. This event kicked off the Robotics Week at McDonald’s Fundraiser. For every Egg McMuffin sold during this time, McDonald’s donated $1.00 to participating programs in Hawaii. Our team greeted customers and promoted the educational value of FIRST Robotics to our community. Our 2014 machine was a great hit with the McDonald’s patrons. A lot of people took note of our unique swerve drive along with our robot’s ball handling and shooting capabilities. We thank McDonald’s of Hawaii for this awesome opportunity!
