This is the main focus of the robot. The mechanics of the robot involve the chassis, frame, drive train, transmission, and manipulators.

   Many parts on the robot are fabricated from an aluminum alloy that is modestly strong given its relatively light weight. The chassis of the robot is made from aluminum framing from Bosch Rexroth Corp. The Bosch aluminum allows for quick adjustments that require no welding.
